WINNER— JACKSON HOLE VINTAGE TOILE DESIGN

With a love for French Toile designs and the stories they tell, Kennedy saw an opportunity to preserve and share history through a Western Toile Textile.  The designer referenced Jackson Hole Historical Museum archival photos to create a Vintage Jackson Hole Toile design. The pattern transcribes history into imagery with six iconic and dated historical scenes.  The scenes relay a larger American historical significance, including Native Americans in the valley, pioneer homesteading, and the nation’s very first rodeo and National park, Yellowstone. This original design is hand-illustrated in pen-and-ink on cotton denim, capturing the charm, history, and spirit of the west.  The toile débuted at the Western Design Showhouse in Jackson Hole with a dreamy nostalgic bedroom vignette of toile-on-toile bedding, drapery, lighting, and wallpaper, plus a toile gift launch.
